According to Tendayi Kapfidze, chief economist at LendingTree, "Most lenders are working towards making remote closings possible by lobbying for necessary legal changes and improving the safety of mobile closings with notaries."
Currently, 23 states, including Florida, have policies in place for remote online notarization.
